Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. We never store your database credentials — connections are made via secure credential vaults and deleted immediately after the migration session. We are SOC2 Type II audited and GDPR compliant.
What happens if something goes wrong mid-migration?
+
Dflux.ai has an automated rollback engine that monitors migration health in real time. If any validation threshold is breached — row counts, checksums, latency — the system automatically initiates a rollback to the source database state. Your production systems are never at risk.
Do we need a maintenance window or downtime?
+
No. Dflux.ai's dual-write architecture keeps your source database fully live throughout the migration. Your applications continue reading and writing to the source while the target is being populated. The actual cutover takes seconds and can be scheduled for off-peak hours.
How long does a typical enterprise migration take?
+
A 1TB database typically completes in 2-4 hours of active migration time. The full end-to-end process including schema analysis, mapping approval, and validation takes 1-3 days depending on database complexity. This compares to 3-6 months for manual migration of the same database.
Can we run a proof-of-concept before signing?
+
Absolutely. We encourage it. Book a demo and our team will run a live migration of a sample of your actual data — with your schema, your database type, and your target. You see exactly what the production migration will look like before committing to anything.
What databases do you support?
+
We currently support 20+ source and target databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, MariaDB, CockroachDB, and more. New connectors are added quarterly. Contact us if your database is not on the list.
